When things don’t feel right
At any time in our lives we can be faced with extraordinary situations and pressures: problems at work or home, relationship difficulties, domestic abuse, family problems, bereavement, sexual abuse. When coping with ill health or coming to terms with events from the past it’s common to experience depression or low mood, anger, anxiety or stress.
To help cope in these situations 1point offers access to range of talking therapies and wellbeing services for people living and working in Bolton.
Our members’ therapists work in a wide variety of community venues and can offer one-to-one, couple and group therapies.
Get the support you need
If you have recently seen your GP, or other health professional, they may have suggested that
you see a counsellor or therapist to help you cope with your situation. However, anyone
over the age of 16 and registered with a Bolton GP can access the 1point service,
you do not have to be referred to us for assessment.
Trained and qualified therapists offer free, confidential, face to face assessments and can offer advice to help improve your psychological health and wellbeing.
